 8 and 12 Channel Washers

8 Channel and 12 Channel Washers (HS5010/HS5020) - These washers are designed to do manual washing of 96 plates commonly used in ELISA and similar assays. They are inexpensive tools if budget is limited. By connecting to a vacuum source and washing solution, you are ready to perform plate washing sequences (dispensing and aspiration solutions). The specially designed dual manifold can minimize cross contamination, overfilling, and plugging. The washer body is autoclavable and acid resistant.

High Throughput Cocktail Dispenser (HS6000)

Scintillation cocktail dispensers are designed to allow pipetting either by 4-, 5-, or 96 channels for convenient high throughput dispensing of viscous scintillation cocktails. The cocktail dispensers consist of a chemically resistant bottletop dispenser (25 - 100 ml), a drip stand, and either a 4-, 5-, or 96-channel manifold. Any scintillation vials (20, 7, 6 ml) can be used.


If necessary, sequentially perform all, or half, of the following steps during radioactive sample preparation:

  1. Decap vials (6, 20 mL) from original carton (10×10 or 10×20 format)
  2. Put opened vials in a rack
  3. Aliquot sample and pipet reagents manually or robotically
  4. Add scintillation cocktail
  5. Recap vials
  6. Mix
  7. Load prepared vials onto a scintillation counter

  High Throughput Microplate Washers


96-Channel Microplate Washers (HS7000)

Unique washing systems can flush a 96 well plate with water or other solvents. The basic dispensing unit consists of:
  1. A dispensing 96 channel stainless steel manifold
  2. An electronically controlled pump
  3. An adjustable (up/down) stand for holding the manifold for microplates of varying heights.
Both pump and movable stand are controlled by a remote control unit. It is compact and easy to use. In direct comparison to a commercially marketed 96 channel workstation, this unit costs much less to buy and maintain, and is much easier to learn how to use - and without any robotics station downtime. Equipped with standard 3 solvent selection valves, the 96-Channel Microplate Washer is fully capable of performing solid phase extraction, solid-supported liquid liquid extraction, microplate filtration, and scintillation cocktail additions in the 96-, 48-, or 24-well formats.

By using the same dispensing manifold, or replacing it with a dual (dispensing and aspiration) 96-channel manifold, the unit can also be utilized for any high throughput washing tasks commonly associated with microplate assays used in molecular biology, immunology, genomic, clinical and pre-clinical drug metabolism fields.

An optional washing 96 channel stainless steel manifold can be installed next to the dispensing manifold to accomplish absolute zero contamination. Very low volumes (less than 5 microliters) of residual solution and adjustable positioning beneath the 96 pins are two additional benefits of this model.
