Description of Equipment:
-
A group of four racks would be placed on the machine at one time to allow a ninety-six
(96) tube run. There are 24 tubes in each rack (4x6 format).
-
The cap retainer - adjacent to the machine rack - holds 96 caps.
- Each tube with the cap will be removed from the rack and placed in a capping/decapping
station. After cap removal and storage in the cap rack, the vial would be picked up and
placed back in the rack in its original position. For capping, each tube will be picked up
and capped with its original cap.
- The machine would be controlled by a PLC with servo motor driven X-Y axis and air for gripping the caps, tubes and raising and lowering the Z axis.
Power requirements are 120 Volt AC and air at 90 PSI.
- The machine includes two sets of racks for the tubes and two cap storage racks.
