-
Both tools shown, EZ Sample Preparer - above; EZ 16 Tube Centrifuge Racks - below,
are designed to allow fast mixing and centrifuging prior to high throughput robotic or
manual pipetting of biological samples from test tubes (10-13mm o.d.) to a 96 well plate.
-
Each tool consists of a carrier with two handles and six square-shaped racks in a
4 × 4 format.
-
The difference between these two tools is the size of each 4 × 4 rack.
- EZ16 Tube Centrifuge Racks will fit into a larger centrifuge bucket whereas the
EZ Sample Preparer will fit into a 96-well plate centrifuge.
- The errors caused by fatigue and/or operator mistake during the sample mixing and centrifugation procedures can
be eliminated by using this well indexed and marked organizer.
- Equal spacing between the same rack or the adjacent racks permit the utilization of any robotic workstation
equipped with either 4- or 8-channel probes.
- They are manufactured of aluminum to allow vigorous vortex-mixing, and liquid level sensibility of
any robotic liquid handling system.
- An electronic pipettor with expandable 8-channel disposable tips can also be used to transfer
biological samples inside tubes or vials to a 96-well plate.
